Residential Services

BARC Developmental Services provides individuals with developmental disabilities a broad spectrum of residential living options in homes and apartments throughout Bucks County and in parts of Montgomery and Lehigh counties.

Services and supports to individuals are identified and realized through a Person Centered Plan. This plan assists individuals in choosing and directing an enhanced lifestyle embracing community integration, relationship building, self-esteem, self-sufficiency, and support satisfaction. Residential options include Intermediate Care Facilities, Community Living Arrangements, Unlicensed Residential Habilitation, and Life Sharing.

Life Sharing is an opportunity for a supported individual to become part of a family sharing in daily living activities, family outings and family vacations. The provider family receives tax free financial compensation as well as respite support services
